The Sicilia Outlet Village is a luxury real estate project realised by the Arcus Real Estate Group. Arcus Real Estate was founded in 2006 and specialises in the marketing and management of luxury, outlet and full-price retail properties and has already realised many successful projects throughout Italy.
Built in 2010, the 30,000m2 covered outlet with more than 140 shops is located on the A19 Palermo-Catania motorway and offers a place of entertainment as well as fashion in the heart of the island.
As part of an expansion, the Sicilia Outlet Village has been extended to include a covered area of 7300m2, using sustainable timber construction.
The HASSLACHER Group delivered approx. 800 m3 of cut glulam from NORITEC Sachsenburg directly to the construction site at exactly the right time through one of its local partner assembly and construction companies CO.MA.ED srl.
The assembly work began in mid-December 2022 and was completed in mid-January 2023. As a result of the maximum speed and precision of HASSLACHER's processing, the timber structure was completed within 33 days.
