The modern social and health centre "CAPE 10 - House of the Future and Social Innovation" is an innovative, unique and visionary social project. It is located in the 10th district of Vienna, in the newly founded "Sonnwendviertel", not far from Vienna's main railway station. At CAPE 10, the most diverse social groups in our society meet to learn with and from each other under one roof. CAPE 10 is run by the non-profit CAPE Foundation, which promotes the welfare of people in need and those in need of help, especially those who have fallen ill.

The building has a usable floor space of around 5,000 m2 and was planned by Coop Himmelb(l)au based on a design by Wolf Prix and his team. The planning and construction schedule was tight: The construction planning was completed at the beginning of 2019. Towards the middle of 2019, the submission was made and the building is scheduled for completion at the end of December 2020. For the wooden construction on the roof, 77 m³ of glulam of the wood species larch were fitted with 3,650 kg of steel parts at the factory.
