EDWOOD is a French company specializing in timber construction, offering expertise in structural frameworks, traditional timber frames, extensions, vertical additions, as well as interior and exterior finishing. Since its founding in 2005, the company has been based in the Lille metropolitan area and primarily operates in the Hauts-de-France and Paris regions. However, it also carries out national and international projects across a wide range of construction types.
To meet the steadily increasing demand for modern timber construction, EDWOOD expanded its capacities by building new offices and workshops – driven by a commitment to quality, high standards, and sustainability.
As part of this expansion, the HASSLACHER Group supplied 135 m³ of glued laminated timber (GL 24h), 90 m³ of custom glued laminated timber beams, and 195 m³ of cross-laminated timber (CLT) featuring X-fix – a metal-free, high-performance, self-tensioning, and both friction- and form-fit timber connector. These materials were produced at the group’s sites in Sachsenburg and Stall (both NORITEC Holzindustrie GmbH), as well as in Hermagor (HASSLACHER Holzbausysteme GmbH).
