HASSLACHER NORICA TIMBER, from wood to wonders

      Pedestrian and cyclist bridge

      Schwanberg

The construction project was tendered based on a first draft in steel or reinforced concrete. Ultimately, on the initiative of a dedicated employee, the bridge was implemented as a covered trough bridge constructed in timber. This project incorporated more than 26 m3 of larch timber (glue laminated timber and surfaced timber). The span is almost 20 m.
