The Pock family's single family dwelling can be found in the urban residential area not far from the centre of Klagenfurt. The house deviates from the right angle and the horizontal; it reaches far out into the plot of land, forming private, intimate outdoor rooms; it plays with solidity and lightness, with closed areas, with filtered and large-scale transparency; it makes movement sequences visible; it does not stack the floors but rather creates a habitable room sculpture. And it brings wood back into the city.
