Event pavilion with 3 storeys and a beer garden
The event ""Michaelismesse"" in Miltenberg, Germany, is the largest folk festival on the Bavarian Lower Main. The so-called ""Lechnerwirt"" Mathias Hofmann - himself a wood lover and former carpenter - had a three-storey wooden pavilion (event hall) built for it.
The pavilion has a capacity of 5,500 guests and features a gallery, raised boxes inside and out, balconies with a view of the Main, two lounges and a large, covered beer garden. The two carousel tables, which guests can turn themselves, are particularly popular with visitors.
The 4000 m² structure is built without foundations or anchoring in the ground and can be erected within four weeks, including the beer garden. HASSLACHER Holzbauteile GmbH, a company of the HASSLACHER group, supplied around 680 m³ of glued laminated timber in spruce from the Kleinheubach site.
