The industrial hall for sawn timber covers an area of about 1000 m². The largest free span of 27 m is spanned by an approximately 3 m high truss made of glued laminated timber of wood species birch. There is also innovation in the construction, because the vertical bars of the truss are made in two parts, so that the standard trusses, also glued laminated birch, can be pushed through the truss, which saves construction height and ensures maximum headroom under the truss construction. The beams protrude 5.75 m and at the same time bridge a span of 18 m. The noise protection structure is the world's first timber construction made of glued laminated timber of wood species birch and can therefore be described as a pilot project. So far, two more halls and a lamellar storage, also made of glued laminated birch wood, have followed.
